Important questions before you start together.

Straight answers to the questions that matter before registering for the pilot being prepared.

Important questions before you start together.

Is Home Cadence publicly available?

No. The Android pilot is being prepared. We are not giving a public release date.

How many people can be in one household?

Exactly two. Both have equal access to shared matters.

Is Home Cadence only for couples?

No. It may suit any two adults who run a home together, including partners, siblings, friends or housemates.

Does the app work without internet?

In the prepared scope, changes are saved on the phone first. Connectivity is needed for sign-in, invitations and updating the shared state.

What if both people change the same thing?

Ordinary changes can be combined. When an automatic choice could remove important information, the app should show both versions and ask you to decide.

Does the server store data?

Yes. It stores encrypted data and the technical metadata needed to update the shared state. Content is encrypted on the phone before it is sent.

Does a search query go to the server?

No. Content search happens on the phone.

What do notifications contain?

They contain no titles, amounts or content. Google handles notification delivery and related delivery metadata.

What will membership cost?

A price has not been set. Billing and payments are off while the pilot is being prepared.

Does registering guarantee a pilot place?

No. Registrations help us recruit a varied group. We will contact selected households when their profile suits the current pilot stage.

How do I delete an account?

The process is still being checked before the pilot. People with a test account may email hello@brillnet-app.com; the account-deletion page explains the intended flow.
