Send an invitation
The first person creates an invitation in household settings. Do not post the code or send it to anyone else.
Approve the device
The second person opens the invitation on their phone. Both people approve the new device before shared content becomes available.
If the code fails
Create a new invitation and check connectivity. If the problem returns, describe it to support without sending the code.
