Home Cadence Terms

Home Cadence terms approved for publication on the public website for a two-person household and the first free version of the app.

01

1. Provider and document

The provider is Brillnet Piotr Adamski, ul. Sienkiewicza 73/6, 90-057 Lodz, Poland, Tax ID PL7321779060. Contact: hello@brillnet-app.com.

The terms are approved for publication at home-cadence.com and are available free of charge in a form that can be saved and reproduced. This does not approve making the app available to users or publishing it on Google Play.

02

2. Service and audience

Home Cadence is a local-first Android app for a household formed by exactly two people. It combines Today, trackers, shopping, bills, budgets, projects, plans, documents, photos, activity, search and export.

Only a person aged 18 or over may create a Home Cadence account. Being at least 18 is also a condition for entering into the service contract. Home Cadence is not child-directed and is not a Google Play Families product.

03

3. Technical requirements and account

  • a device running at least Android 10 (API 29) with current services required by Credential Manager;
  • a Google account used for sign-in; Home Cadence creates no local password;
  • an Internet connection for sign-in, invitation, sync and selected operations; work on locally saved data may continue offline;
  • secure device access, screen lock and protection of recovery material.
04

4. Household and devices

The first person creates a household and invites the second. A new device may require approval and an SAS/QR comparison before it receives access to shared data.

The user is responsible for protecting their Google account, device, screen lock and recovery material. A lost or replaced device may require approval, revocation of the old device or recovery.

05

5. Offline use, sync and conflicts

Changes are saved locally first. When connectivity returns, the app syncs encrypted operations. Delivery order may cause temporary differences between devices.

Conflicts follow deterministic rules. Where automatic resolution would be inappropriate, the app may show two versions and ask for a decision. Temporary sync failure does not itself remove the local copy, but users should check sync status before replacing a device.

06

6. Export, household closure and account

An export may be readable or encrypted. A readable export requires deliberate acknowledgement and remains under the user's control after saving.

Tests with synthetic data in a test environment confirmed household separation, the seven-day export window and the full account-deletion process. We still lack confirmation on a real device running the app version intended for distribution that notifications and installation-identifier deletion work correctly. This missing evidence concerns the app intended for distribution and Google Play publication, not the public information website.

07

7. Subscription and current billing status

A person must be at least 18 to purchase and maintain a recurring paid Home Cadence subscription.

The owner approved the intended recurring paid subscription model, but the current version still does not process payments or billing. This decision does not prove implementation of Google Play billing, products, prices, purchase, renewal or the complete test-purchase process. Separate evidence is still required before payments can be enabled.

08

8. Acceptable use

  • do not provide unlawful content or content infringing another person's rights;
  • do not bypass device approval, permissions, limits or security controls;
  • do not use the service for attacks, automated load or access to another household;
  • do not disclose invitation codes, recovery material or an unlocked device to unauthorised people.
09

9. Service boundaries

Home Cadence does not provide payment, banking, investment, accounting, medical or diagnostic services. Bill and budget views organise household data and do not execute transfers or provide financial advice.

The service does not guarantee 24/7 availability. It may be temporarily unavailable because of incidents, maintenance, providers or security events.

10

10. Support and complaints

Send support requests and complaints to hello@brillnet-app.com, describing the issue, device and expected outcome without passwords, tokens or recovery material. The target is to acknowledge ordinary support within two business days; this is not a guarantee of resolution within that period.

Privacy and security reports have a one-business-day acknowledgement target. Statutory periods govern data-subject requests.

11

11. Digital-service consumer rights

The provider is responsible for conformity of the digital service to the extent required by mandatory law. Consumers may use statutory remedies, including requesting conformity and, where the law provides, terminating the contract.

These terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights under Polish consumer law or other applicable mandatory rules.

12

12. Governing law and changes

Polish law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection granted by the law of their habitual residence.

A change to the terms requires a clear notice and legal basis. Owner approval and legal review for the public home-cadence.com website are complete; another review of the app's actual behaviour is required before publication.
